Come Fishing with Captain Norm Bardell on the Busy Line! We are an Inshore to Block Island charter business aboard a 23' Seacraft center console based in Galilee. Light tackle fisherman, fly fisherman, experienced, or not, families and friends. From the young too not so young, all are welcomed aboard the Busyline. Customized hourly charters for one to three anglers. We have charters available for Bass, Blues, Bonito, Fluke, & Scup. All bait & tackle is provided Capt. Norm and the Busyline are available for you to enjoy many of Rhode Island's varied fishing opportunities. The light tackle and fly fisherman can enjoy the early season by fishing the worm hatch in Point Judith pond that signals the northern migration of stripers. As the water warms fluke, scup and sea bass fishing along the south county beaches from Galilee to Charleston can make your vacation special and memorable. As spring leads to summer, the stripers and blues settle into their summer feeding grounds. You may want to take an excursion to Block Island’s North Rip for bass and blues. Or increase your adrenaline flow by drifting eels for huge striped bass around BI South East Light to the famous South West Ledge. Try it once and you’ll do it again. Leading us to the always-exciting late August through fall migration of Bonito, Albies, Bass and Blues with plenty of surface action for the spin caster and Fly Fisherman to enjoy. Captain Norm Bardell has a US Coast Guard Master License and has been fishing Block Island Sound and Rhode Island Sound for over 30 years. He will make sure your charter is the best fishing experience you ever had for bass, blues, fluke, scup & sea bass. About the Boat. The Busy Line is a 23' Seacraft center console offering a 360 deg.-fishing platform She is a fully electronic and Coast guard safety equipped fishing boat powered by a 225hp Mercury Optimax. Radar, WAAS enabled GPS Chart plotter, compass VHF radio Depth/fishfinder, PFD’s. fire extinguisher, flares & first aid kit. We can take up to three anglers on board the Busy Line.
Cruising and Sight seeing For the non-fishing vacationer, perhaps a cruise around the quiet back coves of Point Judith Pond. Or a more exciting excursion from Galilee around Point Judith Light House Coast Guard Station to Narragansett with views of beaches cliffs and multi million dollar waterfront properties along the way. It’s a great way to spend a warm summers day enjoying Rhode Island’s beautiful shore line and scenery. Fishing Charters All charters are customized by the hour with your busy schedule in mind. You decide when and for what length of time and we’ll book it. The Busy Line can accommodate up to 3 people at the rate of $60 per hour. It is suggested that you allow 5 hours for excursions to Block Island and two hours for fluke fishing trips. This will allow for adequate travel to and from the fishing grounds. That’s it one flat rate: $60 per hour. 1hr=$60 2hr=$120 etc. The spiraling fuel situation is going to require a fuel surcharge. We have not yet determined what it will be.
Terms and Conditions. A deposit must accompany all bookings within five days of agreed dates. Deposits will be 50% of each trip that is booked.. Due to inclement weather, the captain at the dock will make cancellations, you may put your deposit on another day or it will be refunded.. Final payment is required by cash or cashier's check at the time of departure. Parties that cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing may receive a refund, otherwise the deposit is forfeit. All checks must be payable to: Norm Bardell PO Box 2041 Woonsocket, RI 02895 What to Bring: A cooler with food and drink Take Dramamine at least two hours before sailing, if necessary No Hard Liquor or Drugs Wear rubber soled shoes or boots Bring a sweater or sweatshirt Rain Gear (optional) Use sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat Bring a camera and film Avoid alcohol before sailing Avoid greasy foods before sailing And last, but not least, HAVE FUN AND ENJOY LIFE!!!
